Thought I'd add a little ear candy for everyone that drops in...

I finally found a way to add some music to my blog..So, I hope you guys like it...
I basically put a mixture of music I've loved over the course of my life...and a few songs to remember and honor those that have gone on before me-
"Wind Beneath My Wings" and "I sure miss you" is for my late Mother, Ina G. Love 1917-1973..
And, "Angels in waiting" for my cousins Mark and Brad...Mark died in August of 2001 of cancer, Brad died in a flash flood outside Abilene, Kansas.. I still haven't found the PERFECT song to remember my Grandma Love by...Nothing seems to fit or feel right on that count. But, that doesn't mean I Don't love Grandma any less...and still have a HUGE gaping hole in my heart that she took with her when she left!

But, other than that, everything else is music I loved as a kid and still do today as an adult. ( Basically there's a mixture of stuff from the 60's to today...Well, the last few years anyway. Not to mention I couldn't get some of the songs I REALLY wanted, and didn't have enough room to get them all...But, I think 75 songs or so should be enough to rock this blog!!) Maybe, if I have a few hours some other time, I'll put together another play list and alternate the two...( Seeing as it took me a good three hours or so to put this first one together!)

I'm really disgusted that neither matter on the ballot Tuesday had enough votes to make either of them happen. It's just like I said last time, Wichita is the MOST ass backwards place I've seen. We're still living as if it's the 1970's or 1980's or something! Geez, People get with the times, why don't ya! End of Rant....

We finally went and did our big bill of groceries for the month, the other day. So, now, maybe I'll have a little leeway in having things actually on hand to make dinner. Let ME tell you, it felt great to fill up the trunk of the car with groceries...And got more for my money at Aldi's than I would've at Dillon's or Wal Mart!

To be honest, my griping fascination with current events, what decisions politicians make that effect the common man and the like have been put on the back burner due to my really getting into the knitting thing. Yes, the bug has bitten...but, damn! It's SO expensive! Okay, I admit I'm to blame for that, in so far as, while I don't mind Boye hooks...I can get by using them if that's all I've got. But, the truth of it is, I'm swiftly learning I like the Hiya Hiya needles way better. ( They're circulars..but, they make A LOT of difference, in so far as the joins are better made so that the yarn doesn't catch or snag on the joins like it tends to do with the Boye...Not to mention the fact that oddly enough, that while I'd prefer to exclusively use the Susan Bates Silvalume crochet hooks, I find I detest the knitting needles in the Susan Bates brand...ugh..worse than the Boye Crochet hooks as far as I'm concerned!) As it stands, for the baby blanket I've got started, I've only got TWO more squares to go before I can get those last six squares of the 36 assembled, and get going on the eding. I'm not sure what my next project is going to be- either that baby hoodie for "Little Britches" or the Noro scarf I've planned for myself this winter.

Anyway, That's pretty much the latest in this nick of the woods! So,what's up with you guys?!
